Anna Maria Garabedian

Hello, I’m a Computer Engineering student at Queen’s University with a passion for hands-on engineering, technology, and learning new things. My interests span everything from embedded systems and hardware to CAD, 3D printing, and the occasional project that starts with “I wonder if I could build that…” 😅

Outside of engineering, I’ve been playing piano for maybe around five years on and off, chess, badminton and enjoy occasionally creating digital art and illustrations. I think those interests have a funny way of showing up in how I approach engineering too, whether it’s the patience of chess, the creativity of art or the persistence needed to figure out why something isn’t working.

And if something isn’t working on this page, I’ll probably already be trying to figure out why….

Projects

Here are some of the things I’ve worked on throughout my engineering journey so far! Some started as course projects with my wonderful teammates, some came from ideas I couldn’t stop thinking about, and others were opportunities to experiment and learn something new. Whether it’s hardware, software, CAD, or a combination of all three, I enjoy the process of figuring things out and seeing an idea eventually become something real.
