Water Filtration Prototype Design

Sept 2024 – Dec 2024
Role
: Team Lead
Purpose: APSC 101

This was the first engineering project I completed as part of my engineering program, where I led a five-person team in designing and developing a water filtration prototype. We designed and tested an Arduino-powered filtration system while working within technical, material, and project constraints. Throughout the project, I coordinated the team’s planning, scheduling and deliverables while contributing to the design and testing process. The team and I worked together to design and iterate custom components using SolidWorks and PrusaSlicer, using 3D printing to create and refine parts of the prototype as we worked toward improving its performance and functionality.
