Dimensional Change Monitoring System for Ingenium Museum

Jan 2025 – Apr 2025
Role
: Team Member
Purpose: APSC 103

As part of a five-person team working with Ingenium Canada, I contributed to the development of a Raspberry Pi-based monitoring system designed to detect dimensional changes in wooden museum artifacts. I focused on researching project requirements, coordinating team responsibilities, maintaining documentation and contributing to the assembly and testing of the prototype. I also supported the development and testing of the system’s automated data reporting, including testing the scheduled email notifications to communicate monitoring results to users. This project gave me experience working with a real-world client while contributing to both the technical and organizational aspects of an engineering project.
